For most unsuspecting doom metal fans, VISCERAL EVISCERATION's 1994 debut release, Incessant Desire for Palatable Flesh, may have gone unnoticed. Fortunately, NAPALM RECORDS has resucitated this Austrian gem from its dusty archives, re-releasing a remasterd version of the underground classic in 2002!
Combining grindcore with doom metal, Incessant Desire for Palatable Flesh is wrought with slow, epic clean male and female vocals (classical and normal), as well as grunts and the like, and comes complete with explicit gore lyrics and matching cover art. It was originally recorded at the Jack Daniels Studio during the months of February 1993 and Janauary 1994.
Following the release of this groundbreaking debut, VISCERAL EVISCERATION parted ways with NAPALM RECORDS in 1995, and soon thereafter faded to black.
