MALIGNANT ETERNAL was formed in 1991 by Torgrim Øyre (vocals/guitar) and Brynjulv Guddal (drums). A year later, Kenneth Korsvold (bass) joined the band to complete the trio. In 1994, Malignant Eternal added a keyboardist to the line-up and began the recording of its debut CD. The release of Tårnet in 1995 on the band's own label produced good reviews from the Norwegian and international press. Shagraths Hot Records re-released the recording with a complete new layout in May 1996. After signing to Red Stream, Malignant Eternal changed one final time to Napalm Records. They added two new members, Tom Stien (bass) and Roy Ole Førland (keyboards), and recorded their second release entitled Far Beneath the Sun. |
